our team

  • Nate Weller

    Pastor/Teaching Elder

I grew up in the Midwest (Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota). In 2010, I earned a degree in engineering from North Dakota State University and worked for five years as a Manufacturing Engineer. During that time, God began to call me into full-time ministry. I eventually submitted to God’s call on my life by pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. During seminary, I worked part-time as a youth pastor at a church in the Minneapolis area. In May of 2019, I graduated from seminary and moved to Portland, OR to be a youth and associate pastor there for two years. In the Fall of 2021, I accepted a call from Living Stone Church to join their team of elders as the lead teaching elder. I am married to an incredible wife and mother, Abby. And we have three boys: Henrik, Elias, and Oliver. We love the Northwest outdoors. As a family, we enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, and exploring Washington. We also love to cook and host people at our home.

  • Dennis Vogt

    Elder chairman

We moved to WA State in 1978 from Southern California and have lived in North Bend, Kirkland, Woodinville and now Chelan. We have been part of Living Stone Church since 2011, but we attended during vacations in Chelan starting in 1990. We love being a part of the body at Living Stone Church and serving there as well. We both enjoy playing at and watching golf, when time allows. We thank God for guiding us to Living Stone Church, and for all the wonderful friends there, who call it their place to worship and serve Him alongside others.

  • Dwight keegan

    Elder Vice Chairman

I have lived most of my life in Washington.  My wife, Orlanna and I enjoy our retirement from Washington State Parks (me) and the Post Office (Orlanna.) I have served Living Stone and the former church, Little Stone, since the mid 1990’s and have worked as an elder, deacon, board chair, greeter, and handyman.  I love and care about the people who make up this church.

  • Steve Firman

    Elder Secretary

Kathy and I have been married 52 years and we have two adult children and three grandchildren.  We both grew up in Wenatchee.  When I retired, we moved to Chelan and started attending Little Stone Church.  I served as a board member and then deacon at Little Stone.  I enjoy singing and playing guitar for Sunday worship.

I was born and raised in Chelan and grew up attending Living Stone Church with my family. After searching for a church home when my husband, John and I were married, new friends and youth ministry brought us "home" to LSC. I was excited to join the team as the Connections & Communications Director in 2018, my heart's desire is for LSC to be a demonstration of Christ's love in our community. You can usually find me spending time with family, chasing our busy nephews and nieces around or leading Young Life.

  • colleen foster

    sunday teams deaconess

I am a Washington native who first came to the Chelan Valley in 1989 as a Park Ranger at Lake Chelan State Park. Since then, I have lived on both the North and South shores, served as the Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce and currently lives up First Creek with my husband Curtis whom I met on Maui while living there between 2003-2017. One of my greatest joys is singing praises to the Lord by Curtis' side whenever possible and considers being a part of LSC's music ministry a great blessing.

  • WE HAVE BEEN SAVED FROM THE PENALTY OF SIN BECAUSE OF JESUS' LIFE AND DEATH.

JESUS TOOK OUR SIN AND GAVE US HIS PERFECTION SO WE CAN LIVE FREE FROM GUILT OR CONDEMNATION. GOD TREATS US AS IF WE  HAD PERFECTLY OBEYED THE LAW.

  • WE ARE BEING SAVED FROM THE POWER OF SIN BECAUSE OF JESUS' RESURRECTION.

JESUS DESTROYED DEATH'S GRIP ON US AND RAISED US TO A NEW LIFE IN JESUS. WE LIVE AS ADOPTED AND BELOVED CHILDREN OF A GOOD FATHER. THE HOLY SPIRIT FILLS AND EMPOWERS US TO LIVE OUT OUR NEW IDENTITY IN JESUS.

  • WE WILL BE SAVED FROM THE PRESENCE OF SIN BECAUSE OF JESUS’ COMING RETURN.

JESUS WILL RETURN SOON AND ERADICATE SIN, SUFFERING AND INJUSTICE. WE LIVE IN HOPEFUL ANTICIPATION OF THE NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH. GOD WILL DWELL THERE SO WE CAN ENJOY HIM FOREVER..
